To celebrate the life and accomplishments of Ernst Rutherford - the Christchurch Art Centre, New Zealand commissioned Story Inc and Studio Cassells to create an exhibition design concept situated in Rutherfords place of study in his early career. Story Inc and Studio Cassells created ideas for several galleries displaying his experiments and discoveries as well as a theatre depicting a narrated and completely immersive Augmented Reality experience of the splitting of the atom. Walking alongside Rutherford through his life journey - guests eventually end up in the den in which studied he himself studied and worked on his some of his most impressive discoveries.
