Nuvo Instrumental have developed a new category of instruments aimed as both a learning tool for children and as a bridge between the recorder and full scale orchestral clarinets and flutes. Studio Cassells were engaged to develop the aesthetic design of the instruments and further develop Nuvo’s own design language. Drawing on influences such as the simplicity of children’s geometric block toys, Studio Cassells worked with Nuvo to simplify the construction of Toot and Dood.
